President Manuel Guzman of the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), a division of the American Chemical Society specializing in scientific information solutions, visited the School of Science at Westlake University on July 26.

Together with President Guzman were Dr. Dennis W. McCullough, Global Vice President and Customer Success and Managing Director (International Business) at CAS, Angela Zhou, Information Scientist at CAS, Suny Yu, China Market & Services Manager, Li Zheng, Custom Services Manager, and Xiaoyan Cheng, Senior Customer Success Supervisor, from the Beijing Representative Office of CAS.

They took a tour of the Department of Chemistry and explored its world-class research facilities. They expressed appreciation for the impressive resources available to support the faculty members in their scientific endeavors, as well as the faculty members' scientific achievements.   

Hanghang Lan, Assistant Dean and Director of the Administration Office of the School of Science, welcomed the visiting guests and offered them an overview of the department.

Professor Zhaobin WANG from the Department gave them a tour of his lab, sharing insights into his research work.
